CONTROLLER

Christina serves as ELK Development’s Controller. Christina has over 20 years of experience in the real estate investment and property management industry. Prior to ELK, Christina was the Controller/CFO at PRES Companies. There, she led the accounting department by overseeing all processes of the accounting operations and worked closely with the property and asset management teams.

Christina was also a Portfolio Controller at Grubb & Ellis (who is now Newmark Grubb Knight Frank) for their medical/healthcare REIT. During her 7 year tenure, she was responsible for assisting on the implementation of the accounting policies and procedures, leading a team of accountants in preparing and reviewing the financial reports that were sent to various investors/lenders, and was involved in providing reports that were used to prepare SEC reporting. She got her start in the real estate industry as a senior accountant with Madison Marquette, another institutional commercial real estate firm that specializes in retail malls and shopping centers.

Christina holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the California State University Dominguez Hills.
